Apostillen
Grundsätzlich müssen deutsche öffentliche Urkunden und Bescheinigungen, die für den Gebrauch im Ausland vorgesehen sind, beglaubigt werden.
Beglaubigt wird die Echtheit der Unterschrift, die Eigenschaft, in welcher die Unterzeichnerin bzw. der Unterzeichner gehandelt hat und gegebenenfalls die Echtheit des Siegels oder Stempels, mit dem das Dokument versehen ist.
Die Bestätigung der Echtheit dieses Dokumentes erfolgt je nach Verwendungsland durch eine Beglaubigung oder Apostille. Zur besseren, rechtssicheren und schnelleren Bearbeitung bitten wir Anträge nur noch schriftlich zu stellen.

Für Länder, die dem Haager Übereinkommen vom 05.10.1961 zur Befreiung öffentlicher Urkunden von der Legalisation (BGBL.II 1965 S. 876) beigetreten sind, ist eine Apostille erforderlich.

Die Apostille wird vom Referat Hoheitsangelegenheiten, Gefahrenabwehr ausgestellt.

Das Landesverwaltungsamt ist nur für die Ausstellung von Apostillen und Urkunden des Landes Sachsen-Anhalts zuständig.
Für die Erstellung einer Apostille sollten Sie eine aktuelle Urkunde vorlegen, damit die Überprüfung der Echtheit des Dokuments möglich ist. Sie haben die Möglichkeit in der Urkunden ausstellenden Behörde (z.B. beim Standesamt) eine Neuanfertigung Ihrer Urkunde zu beantragen.

In principle, german public documents and certificates intended for use abroad must be certified.
The authenticity of the signature, the capacity in which the signatory has acted and, if applicable, the authenticity of the seal or stamp with which the document is provided are certified.
An apostille is required for countries that have acceded to the The Hague Convention of 5th October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Authentic Instruments (BGBL.II 1965 p. 876).

For the issuance of an apostille you should present a current document, so that the verification of the authenticity of the document is possible. You have the possibility to apply for a new apostille for your document in the document issuing authority (e.g. at the registry office).
